LG 42LV4400 HDTV Excellent Television for the price!!! Upgraded from an LG 32? to this 42?. I was very skeptical about buying this just after reading a great deal of poor critiques, but taking a chance, I’m not disappointed at my $500 purchase. The price and brand had been too great to pass up. Not surprisingly the rear facing speakers on LG 42LV4400 are horrible, but i paired it using a $100 Vizio speaker bar, along with the sound is great. Image is extremely good, not the most effective, but incredibly great. It really is extremely effortless to modes while watching programs. I favor the Vivid and Sport modes. A lot of people do not realize that plenty of the image excellent has to do using the cable provider and tv channel you will be viewing. Bottom line: for $500, I’m extremely pleased with this tv
